Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 76 mph; has consistent feet, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a quick arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2255; Avg 2198). Had gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1976; Avg 1950).
