Zhao, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound, Mississauga North Tigers right-hander is an intriguing arm to follow. He works in the upper 70’s, touching 79 mph when we last saw him, to go along with a changeup and a curveball. The arm speed stands out when watching Zhao on the bump, making good use out of a strong lower half in a drop and dive delivery, the arm comes out aggressively with whip. The arm action works medium out back and works standard ¾ out front. He creates 11/5 break on his curveball, a pitch he can go to and rely on.
