6-foot, 169-pound two-way player with lots in the tank. Offensively he starts tall, strength is clear, but doesn’t use his lower half enough. Slight leg kick, dives on his swing, more power there. In the infield moves well, rough with his pickup but makes the plays. Off the mound pushes the ball a little, fastball topped out at 73 mph, releases from high ¾ arm slot. Verdon has a frame to work with, and when he grows into it he should be interesting to see as a senior.
