A very bright looking catcher with a strong frame at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds. Has changed body with more muscle since last time we saw him. Still can add more to frame as he continues to physically mature. Ran a lasered time 60 at 7.34. Moves well for his position, good lateral movement behind the plate with quick and smooth transfers needs to continue to strengthen his arm, at times would get underneath balls from the crouch, was clocked at 73 mph and a best pop time of 1.98. At the plate, loads on back foot, slight leg kick, some pop and the potential of swinging for power in the future. Smooth swing from the left side, not a lot of wasted movements, good extension with quick hands through the zone. Good balance and rhythm and the plate. Shows ability to be able to contribute at the next level and have an advanced hit tool that can add some power into the mix as he matures.
60-Yard Dash: 7.34

Smooth, left-handed swing with chance to hit for power when he matures physically. Shows bat speed and good balance, can get out-front at times in game actions. 5-foot-10, 155-pound durable frame with room to add strength. Defensively, fields ball cleanly out front, under control. Arm works from ¾ slot, was 76 mph across the diamond. Projects as left-handed hitting third baseman, possibly second base if he works on lower half. At the plate has tall, upright stance. Quiet load, loose, quick hands through the ball, head stays quiet with some bat speed through the zone. Ball jumps off bat with smooth, easy swing. Exit velocity was 86 mph, good looking hitter in the class of 2017.
