Physical: 6-foot-3, 165 pounds; long, lanky frame. 6.95 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even, wide & upright stance; hands start high & drop during load with a quick moderate leg kick. Average effort in lower half, soft front side with swing stays in the zone with very quick hands. Works through the middle of the field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 90 MPH.
Defensively: Low to the ground setup; active approach & feet, smooth through the ball, quick first step. Soft hands with clean transfer; moderate arm swing, standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.
Physical: Lean and athletic 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame with long levers throughout the movements and obvious projectability. 7.02 runner in the 60-yard dash with solid straight line speed.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, slightly open stance with the hands showing rhythm above the shoulder as the barrel wiggles near the head. Utilized a leg-lift stride coupled with a launch position low at the shoulder to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Hits into a semi stiff front side with adjustability and athleticism present in the lower half. Generated easy lift to the pull-side gap while matching plane early and often, the upper and lower halves connected early in the swing creating efficiency and high level bat to ball skills. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 89 mph according to Trackman Baseball and really did damage when the long levers got extended out over the plate. Room for more juice in the near future as he continues adding strength, high ceiling prospect.
Defensively: The primary shortstop was impressive during defensive evaluations showcasing long, lengthy strides and range to either side of his body, got to the spot early and played with downhill momentum out in front of the left side of the body on the approach. Made the play on the run with ease and threw accurately across the diamond out of a short and quick, high ¾ slot. INF - 80 mph
6-foot-3, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a line drive approach with some stiffness in his upper half. Registered a bat exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Long, rangy athlete displayed capable defensive actions with developing 73 mph arm strength across the diamond.
6-foot, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Begins from a high hands load but drops hands into a lower slot to create a flat path through the hitting zone. Displayed a feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 71 mph. Showcased capable actions defensively with accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond and ran a 7.52 60-yard dash.
