Physical: Lean, projectable 6-foot, 165lb frame. 7.68 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly bent, wide stance, as the hands start higher outside the shoulder. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate a lengthy, sweeping path into the hitting zone towards the pull-side. Created some depth behind the ball for a T84 mph exit velocity and 294 foot distance. Natural feel for the barrel (58%) with leverage at times off the front of the plate.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder bounced around on the left side of the diamond. Flat back at the touch, reaching down with a soft glove-hand, and delivered an accurate 79 mph arm-strength (H ¾). Made the play on the run across his body.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 165 pounds; Slight, slender build. 7.4 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.

Stays behind the ball while showing a limited effort from the legs. Showed a sweeping swing path. with a one-handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 82 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 73 MPH.
Pitching: Matthews uses an arm side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has aLong stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Recoils with finish. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 76-77 MPH; straight action.
