9/24/17 - A right-handed hitter at the plate. Uses a smooth back load with his hands during his controlled stride forward. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Swing plays best to his opposite field gap, where he produces regular line drives/back spin. Would be aided by launching from a more balanced position to level plane out and open up the entire field. Natural tools are above average in general. In the outfield he gets to the baseball using fluid footwork. Plays through the baseball with solid ball skills. Transitions well through fielding into his pro step for momentum. Arm is an above average tool with throws showing accuracy and carry. Looked athletic and comfortable out there.

6/20/17 Initiates swing with short stride, There was some back side collapse with tendency to spin off. Would benefit from more aggressive weight transfer. Athleticism should allow Hutchison to make necessary changes.
