2/29/20
Displayed feel for an advanced and projectable 6-foot, 150-pound frame with present strength and room to fill out as he matures. The primary right-handed pitcher sat 78-80 mph with downhill action on the fastball out of a herky, jerky windup with hip coil, delivering through a high, over-the-top arm-slot. Mixed in a 63-66 mph curveball demonstrating 11/5 shape that played down in the zone. Countered with a 64-67 mph changeup featuring occasional arm-side fade when released out in front. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, wide stance utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Generated a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone while staying inside the ball with regularity yielding present barrel control during batting practice. Recorded a 68 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showcased adequate footwork demonstrating feel for a soft glove hand playing through the ball creating an accurate 78 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
