5/12/15 The Franklin & Marshall recruit displayed advanced defensive abilities behind the plate with pop times ranging from 1.97-2.03 between innings. Blugis receives well and blocked everything on an evening when his pitcher relied heavily on his breaking ball. The right-handed hitter showed good tempo to his swing barreling mid-80s fastballs in all three at bats, including a triple to right-center in his first plate appearance.

2/16/14 Blugis is a sound receiver with above average catch and throw skills. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound junior showcased pop times of 2.09-2.19 on throws of 73 mph from the crouch and registered a 4.48 home-to-1B time. Blugis is a right-handed hitter that starts from a square stance and uses a short stride to the baseball. He displayed loose hands and the ability to barrel the baseball frequently with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph.
9/22/13 Blugis is a 5-foot-7, 155-pound prospect that has shown well behind the plate at several PBR events recently. He has quick feet, receives the ball well and has shown above average blocking skills. Blugis displayed pop times of 2.09-2.15 on throws of 73 mph from the crouch. The right-handed hitter has a simple approach to hitting with little wasted motion to his swing. Blugis displayed a bate exit velocity of 77 mph and went 3-for-6 in game action at DeSales University and Lehigh University.
9/8/13 Blugis is a 5-foot-7, 155-pound prospect that impressed with his receiving and blocking abilities. He showcased pop times of 2.12-2.21 on throws of 73 mph from the crouch. Blugis has quick feet and a clean transfer and should develop additional arm strength as his body matures. He hits from a square stance and displayed the ability to barrel the baseball routinely with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. Blugis went 1-for-3 in game action at Misericordia University.
6/19/13 Blugis impressed with his blocking and receiving abilities behind the plate. The 5-foot-7, 155-pound backstop showed good feet and a quick transfer with pop times of 2.12-2.18 on throws of 69 mph out of the crouch. Blugis showcased a 76 mph bat exit velocity utilizing a square stance and short swing path to consistently barrel the baseball during batting practice. He turned in a 7.61 60-yard dash as well.
