3/4/16 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Limited lower half action and a tendency to drop his hand during his load leads to pulling the bat head through the zone with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash and displayed solid carry on throws of 77 mph from the outfield. The freshman sat 74-76 off the mound from a long-armed 3/4 arm slot. His fastball displayed consistent fade with occasional late sink. Tucker also showcased a 69 mph changeup with some arm side run and a 61 mph curveball that is still developing.
