Offensively: LHH. Spread, upright stance, as the hands operate loosely to begin. Utilized a short leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a flat, lifted path with tilt on the backside. The barrel played well into the hitting zone, unleashing a whippy approach towards the middle of the field. Blocked off the front-side properly for a T89 mph exit velocity (87 mph AVG) and 44% sweet-spot rate.
Defensively: The primary first baseman featured solid feel around the bag, setting up early with a wider base at the touch. Bent the hips using a tall glove-hand to funnel inwards and released up to 70 mph across the dirt (H ¾ slot). Quick first step that varied posture.
