9/15/18 Defensively, flashes good flexibility in providing a low, wide target. Glove hand is soft and confident while consistently beating ball to spot. Blocking technique is solid with 6-foot-1, physical frame providing a soft square and wide wall. Feet and hands are quick and are synced well on throw of 79 mph out of the crouch. A 2.00 pop time was registered on throw of 79 mph.
Offensively, 6-foot-1 185 pound right-handed hitter, initiates swing from neutra set up with short, controlled stride staying neutral. Separation is excellent. Weight shift is passive followed by an aggressive hip turn. Bat path is slightly uphill and there is some length. Swings with intent achieving substantial barrel whip. Ball jumps off bat pull side power evident in an impressive round of BP. Registered a 93 mph bat exit velocity. Projects as next level power bat

6/21/18 (Ed Santa Showcase) - 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic body frame. Currently ranked no. 74 overall in PA. A very athletic catcher, with tools to offer. Really stood out defensively at the event. Showcased the strongest arm strength out of all the catcher's at the event and ran a 6.69 60-yard dash. From behind the dish he has good, fluid footwork and also has a quick transfer to release time on his throws to second base. Throws with an ideal catcher's arm action, topping at 82 mph, while producing showcase best pop times of 1.93-2.05. Doesn't stop defensively, he also showed well with the bat. Right-handed hitter offers a good combination of bat speed/strength at the plate. Starts from a balanced stance using a fluid, rhythmic weight shift with his lower half to his back leg to generate power. Hands get to a good launch position before he swings and showed the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field during his round of batting practice in the cage. Recorded a top exit velocity of 93 mph.
