Physical: 5-foot-10, 180 pounds; Sturdy, lean build. 7.13 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Closed setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a swing path that gets around the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while covering ground laterally. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low 3/4 arm slot.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a short stride while landing open. Long arm swing while stabbing downward; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 83-84 MPH; arm side run with sink. . SL: 73 MPH; lateral action. CH: 74-75 MPH; fading action. Strong build, heavy FB with low IVB. High spin CH. SL showed plus horizontal.
Physical: Lean, proportional 5-foot-9, 165lb frame. 7.30 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, even stance, as the hands wiggled in rhythm to begin. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Abbreviated finish that rolled to the pull-side at times, recording a T81 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Found a strong position to hit with some leverage available for a 289 foot distance.
Defensively: The third baseman featured choppy footwork and a flat back at the fielding window. Direct attack-angle towards the bag and reached back for a 72 mph infield arm (H ¾ slot). Threw accurately on the run too.
Pitching: RHP. Set up off the middle of the rubber; compact delivery that repeated with intent through a blocked off front-side. FB ranged 78-79 mph with hard arm-side run, adding a short 70-71 mph breaking ball (2300) for strikes out of the same window.
