1/20/19 - 5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitter begins with a square stance and a lift and replace stride. Plays long, which sometimes leads to loopy swings. Has athletic movements in the outfield as well as a long arm action as evidenced by his 76 mph outfield velocity. Ran a 4.71 home-to-first time. Showcased an over-the-top arm action with a repeatable delivery. Fastball sat 72-74 with slight arm-side run. Curveball was 65-66 with sharp, late 11/5 break. Featured a 65-67 mph changeup that varied with both cut and arm side fade with good arm speed. 

1/21/18 Initiates swing from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Swing is short and leverage is achieved through staying behind the baseball. Bat path is slightly uphill. Benefit would be gained from overall greater use of lower half as well as avoiding early front knee lock. A 70 mph bat exit velocity was recorded.

Defensively as OF, Casillo attacks and plays through ball on ground while properly playing ball off glove hand foot. He demonstrates a confident glove hand as well as solid weight shift and follow on throws.

On the mound, working out of high 3/4 arm slot Casillo repeats delivery well while staying in line. Hip coil is limited and weight shift is early. FB sat 67-69 with arm side run. CB at 63-65 mph demonstrated an 11-5 shape with slow break and at best moderated depth. CH at 63-66 was thrown with adequate sell and arm side fade.
