Physical: Long and athletic 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame with plenty of projectability in the build. 7.31 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, slightly open stance with the barrel resting straight back over the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a controlled leg lift stride with a late stretch in the load in order to initiate his swing. Demonstrated advanced rotational power to the pull-side with a strong top hand and impacted the ball with authority at the front of the plate with long levers. Showed some lift in the swing working through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone and repeatedly got the hands inside the baseball in all quadrants. Hit into a stiff front side yielding a 92 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The outfielder displayed fluid movements during defensive evaluations with confidence in the routes allowing for repeated downhill play through the fielding window while fielding the ball off the left side of his body. The glove hand played soft with quality instincts in either direction. The arm worked with accuracy through a repeatable, high ¾ slot. OF - 84 mph
Pitching: Slow, deliberate tempo in the delivery with a slight hip coil at the top of the stack allowing a quick arm to come through a high ¾ slot on the front side. Got downhill play on a T82 mph FB with a max spin of 1837 RPM per Trackman Baseball and should continue seeing an increase in velocity entering this spring. Mixed in a 69-70 mph CB with 11/5 shape as the out pitch and countered with a quality 76-78 mph CH with occasional fade to the arm side. Dropped in a 76-78 mph CUT FB to the dead zone of LHH creating issues at the plate.
6-foot-4, 190-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Gets on plane early and stays behind the baseball while creating consistent back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 90 mph and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Showcased athletic defensive actions with solid carry on throws of 85 mph to home plate. The righty sat 80-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound. Curveball at 70-72 showed short 11/5 break and cutter worked well off of the breaking ball at 72-76. Changeup is thrown out of the same window with some arm-side run at 74-79.
6-foot-3, 185-pound left-handed hitter starts from a wide, square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Displayed some lower half drift, but manages to stay behind the baseball routinely with a feel for the barrel. Registered an 88 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Showcased the ability to play through the baseball defensively with 80 mph arm strength. The righty sat 75-80 off the mound with a deliberate delivery from an over-the-top arm slot. Curveball showed 10/4 rotation with bite and a feel for the zone at 68-71. Maintains arm speed well on his changeup at 72-74.
