Physical: Lean and athletic 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame with some projectability present. 7.34 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, slightly open stance with the hands starting high next to the ear in the setup. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate an efficient, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased the ability to get on plane early with high level swing patterns creating violent turns and plenty of juice during batting practice. The lower half displayed present sink with above average ip shoulder separation in the box, connected to the ground well generating a pull-side approach when catching the ball out in front / did a lot of damage on the inner half. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 89 mph according to Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary outfielder featured long, downhill actions with active footwork arriving on time to the baseball. Was able to track balls down in the gap with solid angles to the ball, quality catch and throw skills from his position, picked out efficient hops to attack, high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate arm circle. OF - 78 mph
Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step with rhythm, medium high leg lift slightly above the waist with direction towards the plate, minor fall off towards first base side upon footstrike while staying relatively high with the body posture on the land. High ¾ slot with a moderate arm circle. FB ranged from 73-76 mph with command in the zone, mixed in a short 63-66 mph CB with 11/5 shape and a max of 2133 spin per Trackman Baseball.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: A tall delivery that gets little half involvement. A tight and smooth arm action. A good presence with composure on the mound.
Fastball: 73-77mph. Slight arm side kept low in the zone and located on the corners.
Curveball: 67-68mph. Tight spin on a 11/5 plane with more depth over action. A developing pitch.
Changeup: 69-71mph. Slows arm down on the offering. Has slight arm side movement. An average offering.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame.
Swing Mechanics: Righty swinger that starts in an upright setup. FLuid, simple load that creates balance.
Hit: Swings with intent with some definite burst through the zone. Wiry strong guy that has natural whip to the barrel. All fields hitter that had some pull side authority. Settled into himself at the end of the round and really did damage to a few balls.
Power: 85.7 mph was top exit velocity in BP. Much more to come as he fills out that athletic frame.
Offensive Projection: Run produce ceiling.
Field: Plays with a controlled tempo in the outfield too and through. Ball skills are good for his class.
Throw: Over the top with developing arm strength. Loose arm action.
Defensive Projection: Corner outfield.
