At the plate, sets up in an even stance with his weight shifted onto his frontside. Will use a toe-tap when needed to stay on time. Hands move down and back, works to get the barrel on plane early. Line drive approach. Behind the dish, made his transfers by his chest and throws from an upright position. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.08-2.21 seconds, top velo of 70 MPH on throws to bases.
Tall, lanky and athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 145-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds with a top exit velo of 82 MPH. Wide and even stance, knees slightly bent. Hands start by his back shoulder and move directly backwards during his load. Weight moves back during his load as he toe taps. Uses a direct path to the ball, creates plenty of line drives. Defensively, recorded a top velo of 73 MPH and pop times ranging from 2.30-2.32 seconds behind the plate. Makes his transfer away from the body. Aggressive front side on throws. Stayed on target.
