Physical: Imposing, XL frame at 6-foot-3, 260lbs with strength exuding. 8.22 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Bent, even stance with the knees facing outward in either direction and featured a high-handed start above the shoulders. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone. Immediate two-handed finish, which assisted a line-drive approach to the pull-side of the field. Recorded a 93 mph bat-exit velocity and repeated well with a 71% sweet spot rate. Shuffled the feet early before swinging, but was able to maintain timing over the course of the round.
Defensively: The primary backstop showed off developing, alternating setups from the crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.21-2.41 with raw actions in the posture, though the transfers get out relatively quick. A 64 mph arm-strength will continue improving as he enters refinement.
Physical: Advanced physicality in a large 6-foot-3, 240-pound frame with obvious strength throughout the movements. 7.98 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, narrow stance with herky jerky rocking action for rhythm in the setup as the hands start next to the ear. Utilized a quick leg lift stride in order to initiate a flat barrel path through the hitting zone. Occasionally got negative with the attack angle while showing minor weight shift to the front side upon footstrike. The top hand dominated the swing with whip through the hitting zone, could work the LCF gap when pitched above the belt. Showcased a mostly pull-side approach while recording a top bat-exit velocity of 90 mph according to Trackman Baseball as well as a 334 foot max batted ball distance.
Defensively: The primary catcher showed off adequate receiving skills with a semi soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.28-2.32 using short straight line footwork with moderately high posture coupled with average transfer skills, the arm worked through a medium circle, high ¾ slot. Got around the ball while blocking with positive downward chest angles. C - 65 mph
