The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-11, 165lb build. 7.50 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, square stance with some taller posture to begin. Utilized a repeatable leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, accurate path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Got handsy at times, but maintained feel for the barrel during a pull-side approach. Recorded a T86 mph exit velocity and 50% line-drive rate via Trackman.
Defensively: The primary outfielder read the ball nicely off the bat, using moderate pace to attack the ball over the front side. Fielded off his left and gathered the body for a 74 mph arm-strength from a H ¾ slot. Moved to the hot corner with a compact base at the touch, up to 76 mph.
