6’1, 185-pounder is a legitimate 2-way prospect, showing intriguing upside on the mound and in the box. Tall, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ hand and front foot rhythm into leg kick and proper load. Generates bat speed through the zone, flashes above average, learning how to consistently integrate his lower half into his swing. Gap power type w/ ability to grow into pull power. Defensively, moves well on the dirt w/ soft hands and projectable carry through target arm strength w/ clean arm swing. On the mound, the righty pitches from a full wind-up into a H ¾ release. Clean, repeatable delivery w/ some rock and fire tendencies. Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run. CB w/ proper shape and rotation, average depth. Around the zone w/ the FB, advanced feel for the CB. Projects to command.
