06.06.17 - 6-foot, 170-pound, long limbed, athletic frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a long, quick arm stroke with a max effort, up-tempo delivery. His fastball jumped on hitters at 82-84 mph as he hides the ball well. Slider has 11-5 shape with gradual break at 70-72 mph. A two-way player and right-handed hitter, Lubenow has a narrow, closed stance with his hands preset over his back shoulder. Quick load into his stride, quick hip rotation to get the barrel slotted with a longer path. Lubenow showed good bat speed during batting practice, driving multiple balls deep to left field with carry. At shortstop, he gets into a fundamental fielding position with his hands out front and funnels the ball back to his mid-line to throw from a long arm swing across the diamond at 81 mph.
