Martinez won't blow you away with his stature but he is an absolute ball player. The undersized catcher standing 5-foot-4, 115-pounds was a natural at receiving and blocking throughout the day. He showed a calm setup with an innate ability to handle all different types of arms that were much older. Martinez showed the ability to block the ball both to the right and left, as well as smother the ball in front of him.
