5-foot-9, 150 pounds, athletic build. Right-handed-hitting middle infielder with a real feel to hit. A simple, patient approach. Weight-shift load back, short stride, loose/active hands help him find the barrel working in conjunction with his feel for the strike zone. Drew four walks on the weekend from the top of the order with a few hits, including one double. His athleticism also works on the left side of the infield, with a dependable glove, lateral range.

The short athletically built shortstop was impressive in the Saturday afternoon contest. Hackbarth was a vacuum in the field showing plus hands and a quick release across the diamond. Took a vocal leadership role during the game, naturally communicating and taking charge. He also collected one of Rhino’s three hits. He stayed on an outside fastball and took it the opposite way with solid contact.

Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Loose arm, high 3/4 slot, clean release, can play athletically.
Defense: Plays through the baseball, clean exchange and hands, feet work through the baseball showed range.
