7/27/18 - A long and projectable frame around 6-foot-3, 170-pounds. The right-hander works with an average tempo with a drop-and-drive delivery. Arm action is long and loose in the back coming through a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with arm-side run. Curveball had rolling shape at 63-64 mph. He never quite got comfortable and left some pitches up in his outing, but showed he could throw strikes walking one and striking out three in 2.1 innings. Plenty of velo left in the tank as he continues to add strength and lean to control his long limbs.
7/8/18 - Long lanky frame, young build, frame projects. Arm action is loose and whippy. Fastball plays with sink and arm side action, 80-82 mph, touched 83 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 59-65 mph. Flashed a changeup at 78 mph.
