Shooter Hunt, Nathan Rode and Co. released the updated and expanded list of the Top-500 Class of 2021 prospects early Monday morning. The release made quite the splash, and had Twitter, Instagram and Facebook buzzing.

There was a new No. 1, reigning from NorCal. But, not far behind, was Christian Little at No. 2. Little, from Christian Brothers College was rightfully in the discussion for the top spot. He was highlighted in the release story by Hunt, and was talked about on the podcast with him and Rode.

Check out the 12 who made the national list and why they're highly-touted.

Christian Little RHP / OF / CBC, MO / 2021

Little checks in at No. 2 in the overall list. Here's Shooter Hunt's analysis of Little:

At 6-foot-3, 195 pounds Little is about as close to how you draw it up when dreaming about a frontline starter, and has only demonstrated the ability to keep getting better since first emerging on the scene as a freshman. The Vanderbilt recruit’s fluid delivery and clean arm stroke provide for effortless velocity that is creeping into the mid 90s, and almost assuredly will be even higher come springtime 2021. Add to that, his feel for a slurvy breaking ball in the upper 70s and fading changeup, and Little has the makings of a frontline starter. The biggest critique for Little right now, to no fault of his own, is his right-handedness. The riskiest draft pick is a high school right-hander, but with low mileage and coming out of a storied St. Louis high school, Little has an excellent chance of hearing his name called early in June 2021.

Brock Daniels SS / 3B / Vianney, MO / 2021

Daniels is a Oklahoma recruit out of Vianney high school. He's a 6-foot-1, 175-pound LHH SS. Former JFG Team Missouri member in 2017. Ranked No. 2 in the state of Missouri.

Carter Jensen C / 1B / Park Hill , MO / 2021

Carter Jensen is no stranger to the national list, as he's been nationally-ranked for quite some time. Jensen is an LSU recruit out of Park Hill, Mo. A durable frame a 6-foot-1, 215-pounds. Ranked 210 overall, Jensen is known for his smooth lefty stroke at the plate. He's also a solid defensive catcher and has previously posted sub-2.00 pops at PBR events.

John Kramer OF / LHP / Lafayette , MO / 2021

Kramer is an OF/LHP committed to Ole Miss. He has a smooth left-handed swing at the plate and swings with intent. Has posted a 90+ mph exit velocity at a previous event. On the mound, his FB sits in the upper 80's and has topped at 88 mph. Overall an outstanding athlete.

Adam Ebling SS / 3B / Westminster Christian Academy, MO / 2021

Tulane commit. Ebling is a MIF out of Westminster Christian Academy. Premium defensive prospect. Fluid footwork and clean transfers, quick and soft hands. As sure-handed as they come on the defensive side of the ball.

Victor Quinn OF / RHP / Liberty-Wentzville, MO / 2021

Quinn is a former Team Missouri member from the 2019 PBR Future Games. There, he caught national attention and committed to Oregon State. An all-around athlete, Quinn can run his FB up to 91, while sitting 90-91. He's topped 94 mph from the OF and can handle the bat, too. At the Future Games, Quinn posted a 97mph exit velocity.

Austin Young RHP / SS / Fort Zumwalt East , MO / 2021

Young is another 2019 PBR Future Games attendee. He's now committed to play at Southeast Missouri State. He gained national helium at the Future Games, too. His FB sat in the upper 80's and touched 88. Young has a quick arm action and BB with gradual break.

Jack Hunke RHP / OF / Holt, MO / 2021

Hunke is a Missouri State commit. He's making his first appearance on the nationial list. 6-foot-3 RHP with big upside. Up to 92 mph and has feel for three pitches. Off-speed pitches are bread-and-butter strikeout pitches for Hunke.

Sam Bryan RHP / OF / Kirkwood, MO / 2021

Coming off his performance at the PBR Future Games, Bryan committed to Missouri. The lean, 6-foot, 170-pound RHP can run his FB up to 93mph, described as electric among many.

Ryan Karl RHP / 3B / Lafayette , MO / 2021

Karl is uncommitted but is one of the state's - and country's - top prospects. He's had a strong winter and has been seen 90mph+.

Cole Koonce RHP / OF / Eureka, MO / 2021

Koonce is an uncommitted RHP out of Eureka. He was a recent standout at the STL Gamers scout day where he touched 93 mph. This is Koonce's first appearance on the overall list, and he's sure to keep moving up the ranks.

Shea McGahan C / OF / Lindbergh , MO / 2021

A newcomer to the rankings, McGahan is committed to Missouri. From Lindbergh, McGahan has an athletic, 6-foot, 175-pound build. From the crouch, McGahan has a soft hands, quick and clean exchanges. 80mph+ position velo and 90mph+ exit velocity.
