OUTLOOK:

Amanda Clearcreek is coming off a season in which they finished 10-15, including a 5-9 conference record. Players and coaches are looking to improve upon that record and contend for the league title. Key players that look to help that record improve include Stephen Templeton, Cody Blackburn, Mack White, and Alex Reid. Templeton, a senior shortstop and pitcher is coming off a year in which he hit .381, carried an on a base percentage of .438, and led the team with 23 RBI. Blackburn, a senior first baseman and pitcher, will look to improve on his outstanding numbers from a year ago. He hit .400, had an on base percentage of .485, and also drove in twenty runs. White, a senior catcher will look to remain constant offensively and defensively. He is coming a year in which he hit .346, had a .420 on base percentage, and drove in nineteen runs. Also, look for Alex Reid, Riley Landrum, and Dalton Vannoy to make some noise throughout the lineup. Amanda Clearcreek has a good amount of experience coming back this year, which should help them compete in a tough league that includes defending league champion Bloom Carroll, Hamilton Township, and Teays Valley.
