OUTLOOK:

The Polar Bears of Massillon Jackson are returning seven starters and 13 letterman from last year’s team. They have tremendous depth and experience in their pitching staff with three senior southpaws (Gusbar, Turner, and Williams) all headed to play college baseball. Keep an eye on big junior righty Brent Solinger, a 6-foot-7, 250-pound prospect, who showcased low 80's stuff at an October showcase. Beyond their pitching, the Polar Bears have experience up the middle with shortstop Kyle Mottice and outfielders Tim Turner and Jake Miller. With a hungry senior class, look for the Polar Bears to win a league title and make a strong playoff run in 2014.
