OUTLOOK:  

The Eagles are flying strong in 2014 with a roster that includes eight returning starters from last year's squad. With plenty of depth and experience, it isn't far fetched to expect Coach Murphy's squad to make a tournament run. Senior CF Brad Novak, who is also a talented football player, returns after hitting .412 with 36 runs scored and 34 stolen bases. Senior RHP Jacob Servidio looks to build on a junior season that included four wins and 42 strikeouts over 52 innings of work. Keep an eye on sophomore Cal Smith, who figures to be a contributor after collecting four saves while compiling a 2.23 ERA as a freshman. It will be a battle in the Southwestern conference as the Eagles take on Brecksville, Amherst, and Midpark amongst others.
