Chace Culver, RHP, 2014 ... One of the top uncommitted players in 2014 class. Has touched 88 from what I hear, was sitting low-to-mid 80s last season. Outstanding changeup.
Chandler Kaeck, 1B/RHP, 2014 ... The top hitter for Wapak the last two season. 6-foot, 250 pounds. Big, powerful frame.

OUTLOOK:  

Wapakoneta is coming off back-to-back regional appearances, but has to replace 11 seniors due to graduation. However, coach Brandt has a positive outlook: "Coming off back to back Regional appearances it will be very interesting as to how this team progresses. We are in the unique position of basically starting over from scratch as only two players have Varsity experience. We were in the same boat two years ago and it worked out in our favor," stated Brandt. Unsigned senior Chace Culver will be the ace and rock on the mound, but the Redskins will have to find a number two before the tournament run begins.
