The 2015 Super Prep Baseball Series is set to take place this week as many highly-ranked teams from six states convene in Louisville for four days of highly competitive baseball. The event will kick off with a Tuesday night, 8:00 PM contest between Ballard (KY) and Lemont (IL) and is expected to draw the attention of many college coaches and pro scouts.

The Ballard staff has been instrumental in assembling the impressive list of teams to compete and has contracted with Prep Baseball Report Kentucky to provide in-depth event coverage. The event begins in earnest on Wednesday with a full slate of games on the schedule at Ballard High School, Eastern High School, and Skyview Park and will conclude late Saturday evening.

The event will feature something for everyone, from many highly-ranked uncommitted players to some of the top arms in the Midwest with the potential to be high round selections in the MLB draft in June. All told, more than 50 players who have committed or signed with Division I schools will take the field during the event with a host of others who will continue their playing careers at the Division II, III, NAIA, or junior college levels.
