In honor of the NCAA basketball tournament and in conjunction with the start of the high school baseball season we are happy to announce the pairings for the second round of our annual PBR March Madness tournament.

In year one the tournament pitted 64 of the top prospects from across the state in a tournament set up to mirror the NCAA basketball championships with Parkland High School left-handed pitcher Connor Higgins, now at Arizona State, bringing home the title. This year we have tweaked the format to include 64 high school teams from across the state. Following are the rules and the timelines for those voting to help their favorite teams advance to the next round.

** Due to some unique techniques utilized in Round One to garner additional votes on Twitter the voting for Round Two and all following rounds has switched to that of Twitter polls. To place your vote for your favorite teams go to @pbrpennsylvania. Individuals may vote one time for each pairing in each round.

March 18 - Round of 32 pairings will released. Voting begins on Twitter at 8:00pm.
March 20 - Voting in round of 32 will conclude at 8:00pm.
March 21 - Sweet 16 teams and pairings will be announced.
March 24 - Sweet 16 voting will begin on Twitter at 12:00pm.
March 25 - Sweet 16 voting will conclude at 7:00pm.
March 26 - Elite 8 teams and pairings announced. Voting will begin at 7:00am.
March 27 - Elite 8 voting will conclude at 10:00pm.
March 28 - Final 4 teams and pairings will be announced.
April 2      - Final 4 voting will begin at 12:00pm.
April 3      - Final 4 voting will conclude at 12:00pm.
April 3      - Championship teams will be announced. Voting will begin at 6:00pm.
April 4     - Championship voting will conclude at 6:00pm and the 2016 PBR March Madness Champion will be announced at 8:00pm.
