With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Milan Edison Chargers

Team Name: Milan Edison Chargers

Division: III
2015 Record: 19-6
Conference Record: Sandusky Bay Conference, 11-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/4

2016 Team Strengths:

• Defense
• Varsity experience

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Pitching staff has varsity experience but is still relatively young
• Scoring runs

Coach Outlook: We have a very solid defense and much of our hitting coming back this year. We only graduated one pitcher, but that pitcher was Adam Wolf (10-1) who is pitching at Louisville this season. We have a solid pitching staff returning. It will be important for us to throw strikes and allow our defense to make outs.

• Owen Moyer, OF, 2016, 6'0” 165, R/R, Outstanding outfielder, very fast, runs bases well, three year letter winner, .361 BA, 10 SB, 2 2B, 2 3B
• Clay Cooper (pictured right), LHP, 2017, 6'2" 200, L/L, .273 BA, 15 RBI, 5-1 record, 2.20 ERA, 47 K, 30 BB in 41 innings, being looked at by many DI schools
• Bryce Roberts, SS/RHP, 2018, 6'3” 170, R/R, .299 BA, 6 2B, 18 RBI, 2-2 record, 2.37 ERA, 26 K, 15 BB in 44.3 innings
• Sam Stoll, C/3B, 2018, 6"1" 185, R/R, .346 BA, 3 2B, 1 3B, 7 RBI, 9 SB, very quick release, good pop time, athletic, strong, and fast
• Nick Frederick, 2B/SS, 2017, 5'9" 180, R/R, .265 BA, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 2-1 record, 2.15 ERA in 13 innings, did and outstanding job defensively last season
• Braden Ehrhardt, OF, 2017, 5'9" 175, R/, .321 BA, 1 HR, 11 RBI, good outfielder with good speed
