PBR Indiana is eagerly anticipating bringing the best high school baseball coverage throughout the entire state.

Throughout March we will be releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into our Preseason All-State Teams and Preseason Team Rankings.

2016 SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: Lanesville Eagles

Head Coach: Zach Payne
Class: 1A
2015 Record: 15-10
Conference (2015 Record/Finish): Southern Athletic (4-1)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/5

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Starting Pitching
  • Defense
  • Experience  

    Top Returning Players:

    • Brenden Bube (right),SS/RHP, 2017: Led all sophomores in Indiana in strike outs in 2015. Hit .400 
    • Greg Daly, OF, 2017: Led all sophomores in Indiana in steals with 30. Led the team in batting average with a .450 avg.

    Outlook:  The Eagles are coming off their first conference title since 2007 and return key pieces of their lineup and pitching staff.  Look for Lanesville to compete once again for a conference championship as well as a sectional crown.
