Prep Baseball Report

The 2018 rankings expanded from 30-50 players. The initial rankings were based on what we thought would happen in the spring of 2015 season. Several of the players from that ranking had stellar springs and summers as we followed them. This seems to be a deep class with several players projecting to play at a very high level.

Overall this group is very diverse with every type of player. As a whole Arkansas is known to produce frontline pitching and this class is no different, with No. 1 RHP Connor Noland, No 3. RHP Connor McCullough, No. LHP Evan Hiatt, and No. 5 LHP Jordan Wicks, all have started the recruiting process with some of the nation’s elite college baseball programs. What makes this class different is depth of good position players, No. 2 Jakobi Jackson, No. 6 Nick Farkouri, No. 10 Pate Fullerton all had impactful springs for their high school team and are garnering attention from several schools throughout the mid-south.

This class is going to be exciting to cover over the next three season. Below you will find the complete 2018 Arkansas Rankings.
