The 2018 NC High School Athletic Association State Playoffs are here.  State champions will be crowned the first weekend in June.  64 teams are in the 3A playoff bracket with the first round kicking off on May 8th.

Each week will feature two rounds of action, moving to a best of three series for each Regional Final.  The host team in each round will be determined by seeding.  As teams make it to the state championship series, they will shift to the Raleigh area, playing their best of three over two days.

AAA Bracket Notes

• No. 1 Seeds - New Hanover in the East and Crest in the West
• 1st round games are scheduled to conclude by Wednesday May 9th
• 2nd round games are scheduled to conclude by Saturday May 12th
• 3rd round games are scheduled to conclude by Tuesday May 15th
• 4th round games are scheduled to conclude by Friday May 18th
• Regional Finals will start a best of three series on Tuesday May 22nd, concluding by Saturday May 26th
• State Championship Series will start on June 1st
