"We are excited to welcome a great class to the Aces baseball family.  We are graduating a big class of pitchers so it was important to get pitchers in this class that can contribute early.  We feel like we accomplished that.  I'm excited for the future of Aces Baseball." - Wes Carroll (Head Coach, Evansville)

Head coach Wes Carroll and staff landed two top 50 players in Indiana's class of 2018 rankings.  Ranked No. 41 is Evansville Memorial's Caleb Meeks, a 6-foot-1, 190 pound OF/RHP.  Offensively, he  shows above average bat speed with gap-to-gap power. In the outfield, Meeks showcases fluid actions with soft hands and a strong arm. He also runs his fastball into the mid-to-upper 80's.  Ranked No. 45 is Sullivan HS RHP Samuel Steimel, a flat out gamer on the mound.  The 6-foot-1, 190 pounder possesses great command with a fastball into the mid-80's and a 12/6 breaking ball that consistently gets swing and misses.
