The Texas high school season kicks off on February 19, the first day for regular season games. Most teams will begin practicing on January 26, getting their rosters set and finalizing their lineups.

Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we will be rolling out team previews of high school teams all across the state and across all classifications, eventually launching our Preseason Power 25.

We have been sending out our annual Preseason Questionnaire to coaches all across the state and as the responses flood in we will bring you a snapshot of what to expect along with top players and keys to success for that particular team. SEASON PREVIEW

Returning nine starters and five pitchers has got to have Coach Chris Powers feeling good about the 2018 season. With a plethora of expereince under their belts, the Eustace Bulldogs will look to capitalize on their fortunes. Two-time District Offensive MVP SS Hayden Shaddox will look to make it three straight MVPs while Honorable Mention All-State OF Cory Strawn will have a go at cementing his place as one of the state's top outfielders. RHP Cody Strawn has been a perfect example of consistency throughout his career, garnering three First Team All-District selections, and should be a rock on the mound for the Bulldogs.
