With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Berlin Center Western Reserve Devils

Team Name: Berlin Center Western Reserve Devils

Division: IV
2017 Record: 22-5
Conference Record: Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference, 10-2, 2nd Place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

2018 Team Strengths:

  • Starting Pitching
  • Defense
  • Leadership

Coach Outlook: We have enough talent left to contend for a division. District and possibly a spot in the Regional championship.

PBR Outlook: Year in and year out Western Reserves seems to have a solid season and 2018 looks to be no different. Look got Dom Velasquez and Ryam Demsky to lead the Devils in 2018.
