Zane Cook 3B / 1B / Camden, SC / 2021

Proportional frame with broad shoulders and thick lower half. LHH with a slightly open stance and relaxed hand set just off the back shoulder. Medium high stride with average length lands slightly closed and pushes the hands back to a position over the back foot. Showed occasional ability to lag the barrel with an uphill path. Recorded an 88 mph Exit Velocity (tee). Worked out as an outfielder as well as an infielder. Footwork from the OF was slightly broken at times with a choppy rhythm. Exchanges were clean at the belt and the H3Q arm slot produced a 78 mph throwing velocity with avg. carry and good accuracy. More natural actions in the infield. Confident hands and good footwork put him a position to field the ball off the left side of his body. Clean exchanges with avg. quickness and accurate throws. 8.32 sixty time (laser). 

 

 

Jacob Jarrell C / SS / Wilson, SC / 2021

5-11, 180lb Medium build and strong/proportional profile. 2.03 best pop time. 73 mph catcher velocity. 87 mph exit velocity. Wide stance outside the shoulders with a small weight shift timing mechanism. Hands load back slightly with a small barrel turn load. Showed and uphill bat path and good feel for the barrel at contact with a long one handed finish. Good bend in the hips and a low athletic set up behind the plate. Quick exchanges with a full arm circle on the backside. Throws were accurate to the bag with minimal fade. 

 

Ethan Plyler 3B / 2B / River Bluff, SC / 2021

6-0, 167lb projectile frame with good length in the limbs and sloped shoulders. 7.15 sixty time (laser). Balanced stance with a soft stride. Coils the barrel at the top with a small hand load. Launches on an uphill path with middle/pullside tendencies. Good torque through the hips and feel for the barrel. High finish with two hands. Showed good whip to the barrel. Solid defender with soft quick hands and fluid footwork. Short arm action got the ball out at 73 mph with good accuracy. 

 

 

Connor Lynn RHP / OF / Hammond School, SC / 2021

6-0, 156lb slender frame with length in the limbs. Used a short rocker step to get to a balance point just above the belt. Breaks the hands at the belt and uses a full arm action to an OTT arm slot. FB topped out at 72 mph with occasional wiggle to the arm side. Mixed a 64-65 mph CH and a 61-62 mph CB with developing feel.  

 

 

Gabriel Harris OF / RHP / Laurence Manning, SC / 2021

6-0, 175lb projectile frame with long limbs and physical upside. Will need to work on body control to maximize potential, high athletic ceiling. 6.82 sixty time (laser). RHH with an open stance and high handset. Quick toe tap load. Hands load the barrel into a more vertical position. Longer barrel path to contact with a slightly elevated finish. 84 mph exit velocity (tee). Fielded ground balls inside the right foot and exchanged cleanly at the belt. Used a shorter arm arc to an OTT release. Throws from the OF topped out at 80 mph. 

 

 

Brennan Deyo SS / 2B / P27 Academy, SC / 2021

5-10, 150lb, high waisted lean profile. Body type will support additional development. Carries the hands higher from the right side with a narrow stance. Simple stride with a slight lift and small movement forward. Hand load turns the barrel slightly at the top. Negative attack angle with a steep approach to contact. Wants to drive the ball in the middle of the field. 82 mph Exit Velocity (tee). Solid infielder with good hands and quick exchanges. Worked to maintain his momentum through the fielding process. 76 mph infield velocity. 7.22 sixty time (laser).

 

 

Nicholas Waldrop OF / OF / Blue Ridge, SC / 2021

5-9, 160lb athletic frame. 7.04 sixty time (laser). Relaxed RH stance with controlled movement with the bat pre pitch. Hands are relaxed and lower half is strong and balanced. Medium high stride gathers the weight on the back side. Slight shoulder turn during the stride. Positive attack angle and good feel for the barrel. Occasionally quick out of the zone, but showed the ability to stay behind the ball and use the entire field. 80 mph exit velocity (tee). Maintains momentum through the fielding process in the outfield with an aggressive pro step and shorter arm action to an OTT slot. Throws showed avg. carry and good accuracy at 78 mph. 

 

 

Hunter Livingston OF / RHP / P27, SC / 2021

6-0, 185lb frame with square shoulders and proportional build. Moderate projection remaining. Slightly open stance and the hands carried just off the ear. Knee to knee stride with longer length. Hands end down and back when the stride foot hits. 85 mph exit velocity (tee). Generates uphill leverage through contact and torque through the lower half. Long one handed finish. Got the ball out quickly from the outfield. Fielding it inside the right foot and using a shorter arm action. Throws showed limited fade with good accuracy at 79 mph. 

 

 

Victor Brown SS / Sumter , SC / 2021

5-10, 160lb prospect with a slender build. LH hitter, RH thrower put up an exit velocity of 82 mph (tee). Hit from a balanced stance with a controlled load. Gathers the weight on the back side and pushes the hands back with a small barrel coil. Worked to contact with a pronounced uphill path. Used the middle of the field consistently in BP. Soft hands, fielded ground balls out in front with a quick jab step to his right to give himself an angle to the first base bag. Maintained a controlled momentum in the fielding process and carried throws across the infield at 71 mph. 7.34 sixty time (laser). 

 

 

Lane Krisle 3B / OF / Silver Bluff, SC / 2021

Full 5-11, 200lb frame with thick lower half and broad shoulders. 86 mph exit velocity (tee). LHH with a medium high leg kick that lands heavily. Long hand path to a position over the back foot. Muscled the barrel through contact with a slightly uphill attack angle. Limited rotation in the lower half. Stop and start rhythm in the fielding process. Corner INF profile. Firm hands and short arm stroke with glove time timing mechanism. 71 mph infield velocity. 

 

 

Justin White 2B / OF / Blythewood , SC / 2021

5-10, 150lbs medium build with room for continued physical development. 7.17 sixty time (laser). RHH holds starts from a slightly open stance with the weight balanced. Hangs the stride foot briefly while he loads the hands. Stride has moderate length, and creates separation in the hands and lower half. Wants to work the hands through the inner half of the ball with a gap to gap approach. Finishes with a high two hand follow through. Stop and start fielding technique produced quick exchanges and a short arm action that pushed the ball across the INF at 64 mph. Quick pro step from the OF with a H3Q arm slot avg. carry and good accuracy on throws at 69 mph.
