With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Cardington-Lincoln Pirates

Team Name: Cardington-Lincoln Pirates
Head Coach: Jack Bault
Division: IV
2017 Record: 11-11
Conference Record: Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2

2018 Team Strengths:

  • Depth
  • Versatility

Coach Outlook: We lost a big senior class last season. We do not have a lot of players with consistent varsity experience, but these guys hungry and want to compete for spots! One of our team goals is to win 50% of our games and compete for a D4 Central District Title.

PBR Outlook: Coach Bault and the Pirates look to be competitive in D-IV in 2018.
