Class of 2013 Commitments, a Breakdown of Where They Are Heading

Currently there are 75 players in the Class of 2013 who have made their college commitment, with many more to come in the next few months. The Class of 2013 is a very talented group and from our interaction with college coaches around the state and the Midwest, there will be plenty of activity between now, signing day on February 6th, and beyond.

Breaking down the number of commitments, there are 34 players committed to D1 schools, 22 D2 commitments, 3 to D3, and 16 JUCO.

Of the commitments, University of Missouri, Truman State, and Jefferson College lead the way with five commitments each. University of Central Missouri is right behind with four commitments, while Austin Peay, Maryville, Southern Illinois, and St. Louis University each have three Class of 2013 commitments.

The race for Class of 2013 players continues this winter and into the spring, and we are as anxious as anyone to see where the talent in Missouri will be heading to continue their college career. As we receive commitments we will be sure to post them, as well as tweet them @prepbaseball and on our Facebook wall http://www.facebook.com/prepbaseballreport.
