PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Sherman: I chose Concordia St. Paul because the coaches and atmosphere of the baseball program/school was unbelievable. I think the program is excelling and is becoming a powerhouse.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Sherman: I was considering NDSU, Moorhead State, Augustana, Northern State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Minnesota St Mankato.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Sherman: They saw me at the PBR event during the summer. Our relationship flourished when he called me and talked about baseball and Concordia’s program.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Sherman: I do feel very relieved. I am happy with where I am at.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Sherman: The coaching staff at Concordia was awesome.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Sherman: The Starters coaching staff, Cory Glieden, Brett Mitchell, Andy Judkins.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Sherman: I knew it was going to be stressful and difficult, but I knew I had to be respectful to every coach that reaches out to me and that takes away their own time to do that.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Sherman: Getting a lot of innings in pitching Freshman year. And hopefully getting to swing the bat too.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Sherman: Hitting for the cycle freshman year.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Sherman: Will Frisch and drew Gilbert from Stilllwater.
