Prep Baseball Report of North Carolina

The beginning of May brings the end of the regular season across much of North Carolina.  In an effort to centralize a lot of the tournament plans for the coming week, PBR has put together a list of many of the conference tournments for this week.

North Carolina Conference Tournaments - May 1 - 5, 2017

Big South Conference

1. South Point
2. North Gaston
3. Lake Norman Charter
4. Stuart Cramer
5. Forestview
6. East Gaston
7. Ashbrook

+ High seed hosts
+ Games are scheduled for MON, TUE, and THUR

Central Piedmont Conference

1. West Forsyth
2. North Davidson
3. Reagan
4. Mt. Tabor
5. Davie
6. RJ Reynolds
7. Parkland

+ West Forsyth, North Davidson, and Reagan all finished 9-3.  Tie breakers set the seeding
+ 1st Round at the higher seed on Tuesday
+ West Forsyth has a bye in the first round
+ Semi-Finals on Wednesday at North Davidson HS
+ Finals at North Davidson HS on Thursday

Mid-South Conference

1. Cape Fear
2. Jack Britt
3. Pine Forest
4. South View

+ 1^st Round at Cape Fear on Tuesday with 5:00pm and 7:30pm game times

North Piedmont Conference

1. Lake Norman

+ 1^st Round games are at the higher seed
+ 2^nd Round and championship will be played at Mooresville HS

Piedmont Triad 4A Conference

1. Southwest Guilford
2. Northwest Guilford
3. East Forsyth
4. High Point Central
5. Glenn
6. Ragsdale

+ Southwest Guilford and Northwest Guilford have byes in the first round
+ Higher seed hosts their first round games
+ 2^nd Round and Championship will be hosted at Ragsdale HS
+ Round one is on MON
+ Round two is scheduled for TUE
+ Championship is scheduled for FRI

Rocky River 2A Conference

1. West Stanly

+ Round 1 sees #4 v #5 at Walter Bickett Stadium at 6pm TUE
+ Semi-Finals on WED at Forest Hills HS.  4:30 and 7:00pm start times

Southern District 7 Athletic 2A Conference
