A warm Monday evening around The Commonwealth resulted in quite a bit of action last evening.  Here is a look at scores and highlights.

#6 Eastern 9, DuPont Manual 4

#9 PRP 15, New Albany IN 10
Jonathon Cavanaugh went 4-for-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Alex Miller went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, and Robbie Eaton went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI as PRP came back from an early 8-1 defecit to claim the win.  Jacob French allowed 1 earned run in 3 innings to pick up the win in relief.

#11 Henderson County 16, Webster County 5

#13 Bourbon County 12, Nicholas County 2

#15 Collins 9, Spencer County 0
Mason Jeffries went 2-for-3 with a double and HR, Zac Wiley added 3 hits and 3 RBI, Alex Doyle went 3-for-4, and Paul Miller added 2 hits in the Collins victory.  Will McDonald worked 6 innings of scoreless baseball with 9 K’s to record the win.

#17 Danville 11, LCA 4
Jay Hunn hit a grand slam HR, John Roney went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Ben Mahan went 2-for-3 and scored 3 runs, and Mason Stamm homered in the Danville win.  Nick Serey picked up the win, allowing 3 earned runs with 5 strikeouts over 5 innings of work.

#19 DeSales 25, Western 0
Jaylin Blair went 3-for-4 with a HR and 4 RBI, and Shea Martin and Thomas Corbett added 3 hits and 3 RBI apiece in the DeSales rout.  Trevon Metcalf pitched a 5-inning no-hitter with 13 K’s.

#21 Dixie Heights 7, Boone County 4
Henry Kerns went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Nick King doubled home 2 runs in the Colonels win.  Matthew Wehrle allowed 4 earned runs in 6 innings of work on the mound to pick up the win.

Corbin 2, #23 South Laurel 0
Jace Woodruff collected 2 hits, and Kevin Goins scattered 6 hits in going the distance for the complete game shutout.

Wayne County 9, Garrard County 5
Tanner Bell went 4-for-4 with 2 HR, 2 RBI, and scored 4 runs, Ryan Corder went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, and Nathan Garner went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI as Wayne County scored 7 runs over the final two innings to claim the victory. 

Meade County 4, Apollo 3 (10 Innings)
Kase Mattingly went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI while also picking up the win on the mound by tossing 5.2 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 7.

Warren Central 3, Greenwood 2
Josh Floyd went 3-for-3 with a double and also pitched a complete game, allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs to lead Warren Central to the win.

Graves County 4, Ballard Memorial 1
Eamon Hannan and Christian Goff both doubled, and Tanner Smmith allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 5 innings of work to pick up the win.  Eamon Hannan pitched the final 2 innings with 2 K’s to earn the save.

Taylor County 7, Washington County 5
Hunter MacQueary doubled and drove in 2 runs, and Jordan Nicholas pitched 2 scoreless innings for Taylor County.

Harrison County 11, Mason County 1
John King went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Connor Free added 2 hits and drove in 2 runs, and Luke Slucher went 2-for-3 as Harrison County routed Mason County.  Jordan Riley allowed 5 hits, 1 earned run, and struck out 10 in going 6 innings for the win.

Muhlenberg County 5, Christian County 4 (8 Innings)
Cortland Hampton went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Will Boothe doubled and drove in 2 runs in the extra-inning victory.  Hampton allowed 1 earned run in 5 innings of work, and Will Broady allowed 0 earned runs in 3 innings of relief to pick up the win.

Covington Catholic 12, Campbell County 0
Brian Radclif went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, Adam Atkinson doubled and drove in 2 runs, and Noah Galvin added 3 RBI as Covington Catholic improved to 14-2 on the season.  Galvin also pitched 4 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Greenup County 12, Raceland 2
JT Boggs went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 5 RBI, and Tristan Downing went 2-for-2 with a triple and 2 RBI to lead Greenup to the win.  Winning pitcher Jaxon Keeton allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 4 in his 4 innings of work.

Model 13, Burgin 8
Joseph Hampton went 3-for-3 with 2 HR and 5 RBI to lead Model to the victory. 

Russell 3, Lewis County 2
Heath Hensley went 2-for-2, and Alex Jones allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 5 in 5.1 innings to pick up the win.

North Bullitt 6, Nelson County 0
Chance Egnor went 3-for-3 with a double, and Josh Exton allowed 2 hits and struck out 7 in 6 scoreless innings for the win.

Conner 8, Cooper 7
Dillon Lockstead went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Jared Williams went 2-for-3 with a RBI, Ryan Ward added 2 hits, and Blake Hart launched a 2-run HR in the Conner one-run win. 

Boyd County 17, Fairview 1
Brock Damron went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Ethan Hicks, Jacob Barnwell, Dylan Grimm, Billy McCoy, and Evan Crum each collected 2 hits apiece as Boyd County banged out 16 hits in the rout.  Grimm picked up the win on the mound, striking out 8 in 4 innings of work.

Harlan 1, Harlan County 0
In a game that featured a total of 2 hits, Harlan scored a run in the first inning and made it stan for the victory.  Austin Miller pitched a complete game, 1-hit shutout for the win.  Tyler Cornett was the hard-luck losing pitcher, allowing just 1 hit and an unearned run in 6 innings.

Daviess County 6, Union County 5
Jack Schneider went 2-for-4, John Stratton added 2 hits and scored 2 runs, and Jonathan Powell doubled and drove in 2 runs in the Daviess County win.  Andrew Hayden picked up the win with 2 innings of relief, and Zach Burton struck out 2 in the 7th to earn the save.
