New Albany, the No. 3 ranked 4A team in PBR Indiana’s Power 25, jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and held on for the win. Dalton Smith and Dylan Carnes each doubled in the PRP loss, and despite taking the defeat, Dallas Glass allowed just 1 earned run in racking up 12 strikeouts in 7 innings.

#2 St. Xavier 5, #25 Male 3
Cameron Scheler went 3-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI, and Alex Adams added a double as the Tigers remained undefeated. Brycen Harkins allowed just 2 hits and 2 earned runs over 5.2 innings to earn the win.

#3 Madison Central 9, #10 Lexington Catholic 4
Bryce Travis went 2-for-2 with a double, Scott Simmons doubled and drove in 2 runs, Trey Eden went 2-for-5 with 2 RBI, and Ben Snapp and Logan Thomason each added 2 hits in the Indians win. Travis also worked 5 innings with 4 earned runs allowed for the victory.

James Michael Dodd went 3-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, Rook Ellington went 3-for-4, and Cameron Langston and Jacob Ehling each had 2 hits and an RBI in the victory. Ehling also went the distance on the mound with no earned runs allowed and 6 strikeouts.

Carson Crump went 3-for-4 with a double, Zach Babb went 2-for-3 with a RBI, Dylan Abell doubled and drove in a run, and Reece McElfresh tripled in the victory. Dane Milby went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles in the Larue County loss.

Lathan Lamar went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Jacob White doubled twice and drove in 2 runs, and Cory Axton doubled and had 2 RBI. Axton also worked 5 innings allowing 2 earned runs for the win.

Paul Fiepke homered and drove in 3 runs, and Spencer Brandenburg went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Fiepke also went the distance on the mound with a complete game 2-hitter and 11 strikeouts.
