Here is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state yesterday.

Bradley Central 4, Ooltewah 3
Dylan Standifer went 2-for-4 with a double, and Brandon Thompson went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the D5AAA championship win. Gunnar Norwood had 8 strikeouts in 8 innings with no earned runs allowed.

Munford 9, Dyer County 2
Steven Kendrick went 3-for-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and 4 RBI, Corey Simmons went 3-for-5 with a double and 2 RBI, and Jacob Sawyers had a double and an RBI in the D13AAA championship win. Austin Perry allowed 1 run in 5 innings with 2 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Harding Academy 6, University School of Jackson 3
Jake Criswell had a triple and 2 RBI, and Casey Harford went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the win. Nathan Ruble went the distance on the mound with 8 strikeouts.

Clarksville NE 10, West Creek 2
Chris Barned went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, Justin West went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Christian Scott had 3 RBI in the win. Benji Burchwell went the distance on the mound with 5 strikeouts and no earned runs allowed.

Karns 7, Knoxville Central 3
Alex Hames had a triple and 3 RBI, Tucker Pate went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Nick Beuchat went 2-for-2 with an RBI in the win. Greg Tye had 4 strikeouts in 3.1 innings to get the win on the mound.

Karns 9, Knoxville Central 1
Tucker Pate went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Nick Beuchat went 2-for-3 with a double, and Carson Rush and Jacob Nelson both had 2 RBI in the win. Greg Tye worked 2 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.

Farragut 3, Maryville 2
Jake Hagenow went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, and Cole Morgan went 3-for-4 in the win. John Painter allowed 1 run in 4.2 innings with 9 strikeouts to pick up the win in relief.

Summit 7, Ravenwood 0
Wil Dalton had a triple and an RBI, and Reed Johnson had a double and an RBI in the win. Johnson also pitched a complete game shutout with 5 strikeouts.

Grace Christian 6, Meigs County 0
Justin Shaw had a triple and 2 RBI, Ryan Medders went 2-for-3 with a triple, Micah Wheeler had a double and an RBI, and Ross Ledford and Hayden Coffman both had a double in the win. Shaw also pitched a complete game shutout, handing out 9 strikeouts.

McGavock 13, Hillwood 4
Cody Byers had 2 doubles and 2 RBI, Mason Ward had a triple and 2 RBI, Caleb Cox had a double and 2 RBI, Elijah Shaw went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Jacob Brewer went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the win. Ward also pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with 1 strikeout to get the win in relief.

Evangelical Christian 6, Tipton-Rosemark 5
Houston Harding had a double, and Nathan McMeans, Keegan Westbrook, and Riley Watkins each had an RBI in the win. Houston Harding went the distance on the mound with 9 strikeouts.

Covington 3, Ripley 2
Brennan McClain went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Tyler Higgins went 2-for-3, and Cole Howard and Austin Baskin each had an RBI in the win. Tommy Flanagan pitched 3.2 scoreless innings with 1 strikeout to pick up the win in relief.

Knoxville Catholic 4, Alcoa 3
Logan Creech had a home run and 2 RBI, Turner Whitfield had a solo home run, Sean Kearney went 2-for-3 with a double, and Jake Kyle had a double and an RBI in the win. Tyler Hayes allowed 1 run in 5 innings with 2 strikeouts to get the win on the mound.

Stewarts Creek 2, Riverdale 1
Brandon Dial went 2-for-3, and Micah McClellan went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the win. Austin Steel went the distance on the mound with 9 strikeouts.

Davidson Academy 6, Mount Juliet Christian 1
Brock Myers went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Hayden Hollingsworth and Ethan Tressler both had a double and 2 RBI in the win. Myers also went the distance on the mound, handing out 10 strikeouts.
