The NCAA early signing period is slated for November 14th through the 21st. With the the fall signing period upon us, we look to break down of host of Division 1 commitments for out of state commits, where they are headed and what tools they will bring with them.

Matt Soloman SS / 2B / North Haven, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 79 / POS: 15
Outlook: 5-foot-9, 165-pound, strong athletic, fast twitch athlete. A clean crisp middle infielder, has the hands, actions and arm to stick on the left side of the infield. The arm has carry footwork and transfer are lightening quick. Offensively, loose hands from the right side, balanced approach, line drive swing. Look for him to be a starter once he steps on campus. |

Jordan Kjonikse OF / Lawrence Academy, MA / 2019Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 3
Outlook: Jordan is a physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. He will attend West Point in the coming years. The raw ability is obvious as he is an above average runner, with the ability to play a corner outfield position. The bat has plus life in it, should hit for power as he matures during his college years. |

Tyler Gray 1B / 3B / Dexter , MA / 2019Rankings StateRank: 105 / POS: 3
Outlook: Tyler is right-handed hitting first baseman from the Dexter School in Massachusetts. He will attend West Point, where his older brother currently goes. The bat is his main tool as he has serious buggy whip with the barrel. The potential to hit for power in the future is present. He is a first base only at the college level. |
DUKE

Billy Seidl RHP / St. Sebastions, MA / 2019Outlook: A 5-foot-11, 180-pound quick arm right-hander that is headed into the gauntlet of the ACC. Duke is getting a pitcher with a good arm, competitive spirit, and the ability to spin the ball. Look for him to pitch early out of the bullpen, and as he matures he would fit as a starter. In the meantime, Seidl and Matt Joyce will lead St Sebastian's to potentially another championship. |

Henry Williams RHP / Darien, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 8
Outlook: 6-foot-3, 180-pound, long and lengthy right-handed pitcher, with room for more development. The arm is super clean, fastball works in the 86-89 mph range. The breaking ball thrown for strikes, with feel for the changeup. Look for him to gain valuable innings as a freshman. |

Chad Knight RHP / 3B / Staples, CT / 2019Outlook: 6-foot-190-pound, a strong right-handed hitter. Shows to have above average power to the pull side, shows knowledge of the strike zone. An average runner, defensively more of a corner left-fielder, with ability to work at first base. Currently taking reps behind the plate. Look for him to hit in the middle of the lineup fairly quick in his career. |
EAST CAROLINA

Kenny Schechter RHP / Newton North, MA / 2019Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 3
Outlook: 6-foot-3, 215-pound right-hander out of Newton North. The raw ability is plenty, as the arm has realy quickness to it. The frame is big and durable. The velocity touched into the 90's and the ability to spin the ball is present. The command of the ball and repetition of the delivery needs to be cleaned up. Solid prospect with the potential to be drafted this coming spring. |

Sean O'Connell RHP / SS / Boston College, MA / 2019Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 12
Outlook: 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-hander out of Boston College High. The frame is long and lanky, the arm works free and clean. The fastball sits mid to upper 80's currently but his best days are in front of him. The ability to spin the ball is present as well. Good tempo and competitiveness to his craft, should be interesting to follow him. |

Outlook: 6-foot-6, 230-pound right-handed pitcher is headed to the Ivy League. The projection is immense with this young arm. He is just tapping into his potential. With that current leverage and the potential, he should be interesting follow for years to come. |

Stephen Paolini OF / St. Joseph, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 7
Outlook: 6-foot, 175-pound, super athletic wiry strong athlete. A left-handed hitter, quick line drive stroke to all fields, potential to be an extra base hit machine. Throws extremely well from outfield, runs above average, 6.6 sixty, look for him to play right away. |
Fairleigh Dickinson

Outlook: 5-foot-10, 165-pound, lean athletic frame. A right-handed hitting middle infielder. Plays both sides of the field well. Defensively, has clean glove, good actions, average arm, better suited for second base long term. Simple balanced approach at the plate, line drive swing to all fields. high level defender, should make all routine plays, look for him to get work his freshman year. |
Georgetown

Will Gersky 3B / RHP / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 23 / POS: 1
Outlook: 6-foot-4, 225-pound, large, wide physical frame. Shows to have tremendous power to all fields, with plate coverage, knowledge of the strike zone. Defensively, is above average around the bag at first, soft hands with a quick arm starting double plays. Should be an impact right away, hitting in the middle of the lineup. |

Carter Cousins RHP / OF / Suffield Academy, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 62 / POS: 22
Outlook: 6-foot-2, 180-pound, long, leaner athletic frame. A right-handed pitcher, fastball is in the mid 80's the breaking ball has a chance to be a legit out pitch, a true curve ball. Projects out, will work out of the bullpen early, has the makings of being a weekend starter at some point. |
Hofstra

Outlook: 5-foot-9 170-pound, strong, fast twitch athlete. A big time sleeper, plays the game extremely hard and fast. The bat plays, line drives to all fields, consistent hard contact at multiple events and games. Defensively, super quick behind the plate, average arm, throws are on the bag. Big time leader, look for big things from this one. |
Manhattan

Justin Solimine RHP / 1B / Danbury, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 120 / POS: 44
Outlook: 6-foot-1, 200-pound, thick, strong athletic frame. A right-handed pitcher, who has done a tremendous job getting physically in better shape and added strength. Pounds the zone with 3 pitches, above average feel for the change up, breaker for strikes. The fastball is 85-86 mph, locates it to both sides. Solimine should compete fro innings as a freshman. |
Maryland

Bobby Zmarzlak OF / Westhill, CT / 2019Outlook: 6-foot-4, 195-pound, the number 1 player in the class in New England. A big time athlete, super athletic, runs well above average, throws well from the outfield. At the plate, more of a gap hitter, potential to be a doubles machine. |

Tucker Flint OF / LHP / Bishop Hendricken, RI / 2019Outlook: 6-foot-2, 200-pound, a monster left-handed hitter, top toll is the bat, should hit at a very high level, power to all fields. Average runner and thrower from outfield projects out to be a left fielder. Potential to be a good draft in 2019. |

Outlook: 6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong, super athletic athlete. An above runner, an easy 6.6 runner. At the plate shows to have big juice to all fields. Off the mound, fastball is 85-87 mph, with a true mid 70's hammer. Should compete for a starting outfield position and get time out of the bullpen. |
Old Dominion

Outlook: 6-foot-2, 180-pound, an athlete, strong hands and wrists. Plays the game faster than what is recorded. The swing is smooth from the left-side, barrel finds the baseball consistently. Look for a move from the middle of the field to a corner position. The hit tool is advanced. |
Penn State

Ben Kailher SS / 2B / Providence Country Day, RI / 2019Rankings StateRank: 32 / POS: 6
Outlook: 5-foot-8, 160-pound, smaller strong athletic frame. A fast twitch athlete, right-handed hitting middle infielder, can play on either side of the bag, projects out more as an offensive second baseman. Runs well, can handle the bat, with enough pop to get the ball in gaps for extra base hits. A grinder type mentality, a proven winner. |
SIENA

Donovan Montgomery SS / 2B / Burlington, VT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 69 / POS: 12
Outlook: 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. The glove is solid, moves well and can handle the pivot. Has the capability to move to other spots in the infield but the foot speed is good enough to stay at shortstop. The bat has good life to it, spreads the field and stays in his legs during contact. Good looking player. |
STANFORD

Max Meier RHP / Lawrence Academy, MA / 2019Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 9
Outlook: 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed is headed west to a great spot, Stanford. The arm is clean, pitches in the upper 80's to low 90's. The spin pitch is coming along nicely and the frame projects durability. The potential is immense and he made a significant jump at the tail end of the summer. |
Tulane

Parker Haskin C / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2019Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 2
Outlook: 5-foot-9, 185-pound, strong athletic frame. A left-handed hitter, swing is smooth, short and quick to the baseball. A line drive approach. Defensively, soft hands on the catch and moves well behind the dish. The arm is average with a pop time around 2.0. Look for him to compete for at bats his freshman year. |
VIRGINIA

Outlook: 6-foot-1,210-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Evan is headed to the ACC. Plays centerfield for his current team, and shows the ability to run the ball down. Probably more of a corner outfielder at the next level. The bat has good life to it, stays in his legs during the swing. The potential to hit homeruns as he matures in college. |

The stroke is short and quick to the baseball. Defensively, smooth, clean actions, arm can stick from left side. Projects more as a power hitting second baseman. |
VIRGINIA TECH

Henry Weycker LHP / 1B / Wellesley, MA / 2019Outlook: 5-foot-11, 210-pound left-handed pitcher. Henry is headed to Blacksburg to pitch in the ACC, The arm is legit, and the ability to spin the ball is evident. The spin pitch is above average, and the aggressive approach to pitching is present. The undersized left-hander is a very good one. Should have another big high school spring season as well. |
