The month of May was an exciting one for PBR Wisconsin. Aside from covering the WIAA State playoffs, Prep Baseball Report was able to see some of the state’s brightest young talent at the Future Prospects Showcase, which was held in both Milwaukee and Madison.

Looking forward, there are plenty of opportunities to prove your talent to PBR if you are a prep athlete from Wisconsin. Coming up on the 18th of June is the Top Prospect event that will be held in Chicago. Following behind that are the Underclass Trials, All-State Games, and Western Wisconsin Open. On a national level, the PBR team provided in-depth analysis for the upcoming draft, including mock drafts and previews for some of the drafts top players.

  • The updated PBR 2022 Overall Rankings were released on May 30. OF Michael Lippe (Whitefish Bay; Louisville commit) ranked in at No. 39, making him the highest representative for the state of Wisconsin. Following behind him were OF Brendan Strenke (Turtle Lake; uncommitted), SS Gavin Kilen (Janesville Craig; Louisville), OF James Duncan (Arrowhead; uncommitted), 3B Mitchell Voit (Whitefish Bay; uncommitted), and LHP Michael Mulhollon (Westosha Central; uncommitted) to round out the Wisconsin talent.
