- Game Notes -  

- Team Pennsylvania jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. Rafe Perich and Cullen Horowicz both singled in the inning and Jake Books picked up an RBI on hard ground ball. Horowicz tripled home a run in the 3rd inning for his second hit of the game and later scored on another ground ball off the bat of Books. Team PA tied it in the 6th inning with Horowicz getting things started again with his third hit of the game. Maddix Dalena doubled and Andrew Muraco's sacrifice fly brought home Horowicz with the tying run.

In addition to Horowicz' 3-for-3 performance, Derek Cease was 2-for-3.

- Prospect Notes - 

- 2021 LHP Erik Ritchie worked 2 strong innings in relief, topping at 87 mph. He faced the minimum with two strikeouts.

- 2021 SS/RHP Derek Cease tossed a scoreless 7th inning topping at 87 mph.

- Game Notes -  

- Team PA opened up scoring in the top of the first inning with a pair of runs on an RBI triple from Rafe Perich of the right center field wall and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jake Books. The scoring continued in the 2nd inning with Alex Gabaur's sacrifice fly and an RBI single from Caleb Sturtevant. Team PA made it 6-2 in the 3rd inning on a two out, two RBI double off the bat of Maddix Dalena. 

- Cullen Horowicz stayed hot following a 3-for-3 performance on day one. Against Michigan Horowicz went 1-for-1 with a pair of walks and a run scored.

- Andrew Muraco and Evin Sullivan also added hits on the day.

- Prospect Notes - 

- 2021 RHP Luke Holman topped at 89 mph while also flashing a high spin rate curveball with sharp 12/6 break.

- 2022 LHP Chase Kriebel allowed one earned run over three innings of work against Team Michigan with three strikeouts. The 6-foot, 160-pounder mixed three pitches effectively from a combination of arm slots with a loose, whippy delivery. 

- 2021 RHP Michael Kilker sat 87-90 with late life to his fastball while also flashing a slider at 72-75.

- Game Notes -  

- Team Pennsylvania answered an early 2-0 deficit with single runs in the 3rd and 4th to tie things up. Maddix Dalena lead off the 3rd inning with a walk and later scored on a line drive, sacrifice fly off the bat of Evin Sullivan. Paxton Kling singled in the 4th and came around to tie things up on a double off the bat of Rafe Perich. The game remained knotted until the bottom of the 7th when Cullen Horowicz scored Paxton Kling with a sacrifice fly to win it of the PA boys.

Prospect Notes - 

- 2021 RHP Trey Yesavage sat 89-92 with downhill plane on his fastball. A slider at 79-81 and curveball at 76-77 give him three useful, next level pitches in a 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame.

- 2021 LHP Carter Welch showed an advanced feel for adding and subtracting velocity with a feel for three pitches. Fastball sat 83-85 from a 3/4 arm slot. Curveball at 63/64 shows two plane action and his changeup is commanded well with excellent sell.

- 2021 LHP Josh Beck worked the final two innings scoreless with three strikeouts. The 6-foot-6, 180-pound lefty sat 83-86, touching 87 mph with plenty of room to add to his long, lanky frame.
