With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Hilltop Cadets
Team Name: Hilltop Cadets
Head Coach: Tony Gerig
Division: IV
Conference Record: Buckeye Border Conference, 9-3, 2nd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 9/3
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “We had a great spring in 2017 as well as a great tourney run in our ACME season. We are upperclassmen heavy this year and have a full expectation of improving upon a school record number of wins both in conference and overall. Our success will be determined by the amount of buy in we get from every player putting the team's success ahead of individual achievement.”
PBR Outlook: With nine starters returning, coach Gerig and the Cadets have a chance to make a name for themselves in 2018.
